Apple Event “It’s Glowtime” which happened on 9th September, is being criticized aggressively for not introducing anything new or innovative. The iPhone 16 has made its debut with other Apple products in this event. This blog intends to give all the highlights of one and a half our of the Apple event in just 15 minutes. iPhone 16
iPhone 16 was the star of the Apple Event. Here are the specifications and upgrades that the Apple community can experience:
- The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature Larger Displays, an A18 chip, a customizable action button, and a New Camera Control.
- iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have bigger displays now, at 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively. They come with the best iPhone display ever.
- The ultra-wide camera in iPhone 16 enables macro photography. The camera can capture 2.6X extra light. For the first time ever, the iPhone can now capture spatial photos. The Photos app in iPhone 16 is now customisable with iOS 18. The distracting objects in photos can also be removed.
- All the iPhone 16 models come with MagSafe charging and can charge up to 25W
- With better charging, it will have the longest-ever iPhone battery life, which is 33 Hours battery life.
- However, iPhone 16 pro models weigh a few more pounds than iPhone Pro models.
- There is no upgrade in storage capacity and it still starts with 128GB Storage and ranges up to 1TB.
- All the 16 models will support JPEG-XL Format.
- It will support WiFi 7
- All the iPhone 16 sold worldwide except in the U.S. will have a physical SIM card, Tray.
- Only U.S. users of iPhone 16 Models will be able to experience faster mmWave.
- USB C type will be limited to USB 2, and there will be no change for any model of iPhone 16.
- 30% higher sustained performance for gaming
- Four studio-quality mics. It will capture spatial audio during video recording.
- iPhone 16 with A18 chip begins at $799, and iPhone 16 Plus pricing starts at $899.
- Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max will cost $1199, and iPhone 16 Pro will cost $999.
Apple Watch Series 10
- The Watch Series 10 will come with a Bigger screen as compared to the Ultra model.
- Apple Event also launched Series 10 in a much thinner body.
- Fastest-charging Apple watch ever. A 30-minute charge will deliver over 80 percent of battery life.
- Apple’s Watch 10 will also be available in a Titanium finish.

- Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black
- There is no refresh for Apple Watch Ultra or Apple Watch SE.
- Apple Watch Ultra 2 will feature a Satin Black Finish along with a Titanium Milanese Loop and Hermès Mode.
- AirPods 4
- Airpod 4 makes its debut at Apple Event
- It offers a better fit with the two models
- It will also support USB-C type.
- The prices for AirPods 4 start at $129.
A18 Chip
- The New Neural Engine works two times faster.
- Enhanced memory sub-system with additional bandwidth by 17%.
- The feature is available for iPhone 16 and iPhone Pro versions but in the beginning only for the iPhone Pro.
- All of these computers are made using a second-generation 3nm process.
- Six cores CPU consisting of 2 high-performance cores and four efficiency cores.
- The new chip is 30% faster than the A16 Bionic.
- Rated at 15% instead of A16 Bionic’s 20% for device usage, 30% more energy-efficient than A16 Bionic.
- The revolutionary five-nanometer “desktop-class” GPU is 40% faster than A16 Bionic.
- The new GPU is 35 percent more energy efficient than the A16 Bionic chip.
Apple Intelligence
- Generative models are used directly on the iPhone.
- Private cloud for complex tasks for scalability of cloud computing.
- Apple does not collect or share our users’ data with Apple; iPhone data is not saved.
- By now it is evident that data centers are powered by renewable energy sources.
- Genmoji signs for generating individual emoticons (not included with iPhone 16 release).
- Siri is slowly coming to on-screen audiences.
- The first features of the product will be rolled out in the country that speaks US English next month during the beta launch.
- Coming next year for support in Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish languages.

- The iPhone 15 and the newer models of Apple will feature iOS 18.1 and Apple Intelligence in October.
- iOS 18 will feature a New Option to Pause Video Recording

- RCS support for better texting with Android devices.
- iPhone mirroring will help with iPhone interaction on Mac.

The Bottom Line:
After the Apple Event, there is widespread disappointment. And criticism around the action button is growing as it is a copy of Samsung feature. However, the price has not experienced any hike because there are not many upgrades in the new Apple products.
